MOH Field Trips offer elementary school-aged children authentic and multisensory experiences ecology, art, and writing while immersed in the beauty of a natural woodland setting!
Groups can customize their experience by choosing from activities such as:
*guided forest walks *woodland scavenger hunts
*nature journaling *creative writing experiences
*storytelling *creative art experiences
*creative hands-on outreach & service-based workshops
*"Caring for God's Creatures" therapy dog workshops
Groups are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in MOH's lunch pavilion or on a blanket on one of MOH Camp's fields or schedule lunch delivery from a nearby restaurant.
MOH Field Trips are designed for students in grades Pre-K- Grade 5 and are offered during the months of May, June, September, and October. Field trips may be booked Monday thru Friday and are generally 3 hours in length.
Field Trip Group Size: Up to 30 students (1 chaperone is required for every 4-6 students)
Field Trip Cost: $10.00 per student, chaperones FREE!
Chaperone Expectations: The Mother of Hope Camp staff is pleased to coordinate and facilitate your group's fun and educational field trip activities. However, MOH requests that attending organizations provide their own chaperones who assume full responsibility for the direct supervision, safety, and behavior of students during the entire time of their visit. Chaperones are responsible for ensuring that all students follow MOH Camp's expectations regarding safety, behavior, and respectful care of the camp property and the environment.
