Enjoy many fun and exciting outdoor experiences offered at Mother of Hope Summer Camp such as archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, challenge course, basketball, exploring, field games, fishing, hiking, nature & pet education programs, swimming on MOH Camp's private beach, volleyball, and making new friends.
Our Catholic faith shapes and informs the distinctive camp experience offered at Mother of Hope Camp. In addition to the weekly Celebration of Mass and daily prayer, campers are exposed to many opportunities within the theme weeks to foster and deepen their knowledge and love of God!
Campers of all faiths and backgrounds benefit from the nurturing and loving community that is Mother of Hope Camp!
1. When a counselor or staff person talks, look at him/her and listen to him/her.
2. Be a good friend to everyone. Know and use their names, share, help, and take turns.
3. Use kind, helpful, and respectful words.
No name-calling, swearing, teasing, or arguing.
4. Use hands and bodies in kind, helpful, and respectful ways.
No pulling, pushing, poking, pinching, hitting, fighting, picking up or throwing sticks or rocks, taking objects away from others, etc.
5. Stay with and travel with your group.
Know your buddy’s name and who he/she is, travel in a buddy line, and let your counselor know if you need to go to the bathroom, the first aid center, to refill water, or anywhere else. 6. Be responsible for carrying and storing your own belongings in your backpack.
7. Apply sunscreen and drink water frequently.
8. Participate positively in all camp activities.
9. Show care and respect for all of God’s creation.
