MOH’s Field Trips offer elementary school-aged children authentic and multisensory
experiences in gaining a rich knowledge of the natural environment. Activities include listening to a story related to environmental stewardship, journaling while exploring Mother of Hope Camp's beautiful forest trails, and engaging in a nature crafts and activities. Students are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in MOH's lunch pavilion or on a blanket on one of MOH Camp's fields.
Field trip visits by Catholic schools or parish groups include prayer and introduce students to the teachings of Pope Francis in His encyclical, Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home. Through prayer and activities children will observe, classify, and discover while developing a reverence for God and an appreciation for the beauty of His creation.
MOH Field Trips are designed for students in grades Pre-K - Grade 3 and are offered during the months of May, June, September, and October. Field trips generally run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, M-F.

Cost: $10.00 per student, chaperones FREE!
Chaperone Expectations: The Mother of Hope Camp staff is pleased to coordinate and facilitate fun and educational field trip activities for your group. However, MOH requests that attending organizations provide their own chaperones who assume full responsibility for the direct supervision, safety, and behavior of students during the entire time of their visit. Chaperones are responsible for ensuring that all students follow MOH Camp's expectations regarding safety, behavior, and respectful care of the camp property and the environment.
MOH requests 1 chaperone for every 4-6 students.
